Illustration Friday

In celebration of Illustration Friday I present to you, dear readers, my entry in this week's "early" theme, "Window View" :

The word early always carried the thought of a blur between late nights and budding mornings. This painting represents the theme quite well for me; it was the first thing I painted in my Kennett Square room. The same room I looked out into the black and saw the twilight of early mornings, signaling my need to sleep.
